Ecology proposes language for Reclaimed Water rule; public comment meeting - Tuesday, October 3 (10:30am)

The Department of Ecology filed the CR 102 and released proposed Chapter 173-219 WAC: Reclaimed Water for public review and comment. This includes a Preliminary Regulatory Analyses.

As you may recall, Ecology last held a public comment period on this chapter in the fall of 2015. In response to comments we withdrew that proposal.  Since then, we’ve been working with our partners at the Washington State Department of Health, as well as our Reclaimed Water Rule Advisory Committee, on this new proposal.

We invite you to participate in a public comment period from August 23, 2017 – October 13, 2017 to let us know what you think.

You can find the rulemaking documents, including a copy of the proposed draft rule language at www.ecy.wa.gov/programs/wq/ruledev/wac173219/0612/0612timedocs.html
