Get Certified for Stormwater Abatement!


NWETC is proud to present two upcoming opportunities to receive Stormwater Abatement Certification. These certifications apply to the CESCL (Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead) certification in Washington and the 1200C in Oregon. 
Upcoming Stormwater Certification
Stormwater Certification (CESCL--Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead in Washington or 1200C in Oregon) is required by the Washington State Department of Ecology and the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality. Construction Stormwater General Permit for personnel responsible for monitoring stormwater at construction sites disturbing one or more acres of land, or are part of a larger common plan of development. NWETC’s 2-day Stormwater course is a dynamic interaction between traditional classroom style lecture and hands-on field exercises. 

Day 1, and the first part of day 2 is spent in the classroom. On the afternoon of day 2, the class will visit a field site to learn more about the BMP products and have hands on experience practicing correctly installing a variety of erosion control BMPs. 

Attendees will receive a Stormwater Certification Card, that is valid for three years.

NWETC also offers a CESCL 1-day online Re-Certification Course. Enjoy this convenient course at any date and location of your choice!
