Free Webinar: Select Case Studies on the Revitalization of Contaminated Sites with Green Infrastructure Inbox x - Tuesday, December 18 (10:00am - 11:30am)

Please join EPA’s Office of Wastewater Management for a free webinar on the implementation of green infrastructure at Superfund sites.

EPA’s Superfund program is responsible for cleaning up some of the nation’s most contaminated land and responding to environmental emergencies, oil spills and natural disasters. To protect public health and the environment, the Superfund program focuses on making a visible and lasting difference in communities, ensuring that people can live and work in healthy, vibrant places. As Superfund communities plan for redevelopment, many are incorporating innovative green infrastructure projects to naturally manage stormwater and improve site sustainability and resiliency. In this webcast, speakers from EPA’s Office of Land and Emergency Management, EPA Region 9, Environmental Resources & Consulting LLC, and Skeo Solutions will introduce attendees to the Superfund program, highlight examples of successful green infrastructure implementation, and discuss the ways in which green infrastructure practices are changing how public stakeholders view the long term potential of contaminated sites.
