New Models of Citizen Science from the American Geophysical Union: Free Livestream - Thursday, December 13 (10:30am - 3:00pm)

Citizen science and crowdsourcing are at an exciting time, growing in new directions from the smallest local projects to those that stretch globally and beyond. Our projects can vary in scope and scale, and are conducted at all levels of society: local, regional, national, and global. Bringing together leaders from government, academia, NGOs, and the private sector, this event will probe questions including: How do projects and practices successfully widen their scope or transfer to new locations? How do projects at different scales interact and share resources? Our goal is to start a conversation to help projects and practices expand their impact.

Also, if you can't wait until tomorrow afternoon to discuss citizen science and crowdsourcing, there will be a free livestream of a session on New Models of Citizen Science from the American Geophysical Union (AGU) conference tomorrow(Friday, 14 Dec) at 8:00 - 10:00 AM ET.  Details on how to register and participate in this AGU event is available here
