Municipal IDDE Feedback Workshops - Monday, February 25 (1:00pm - 4:00pm)

What: Please attend an upcoming workshop to provide input on field methods your jurisdiction uses for identifying and tracing sources of stormwater illicit discharges (ID) and illicit connections (IC).

Who: Municipal stormwater staff who work on identifying and tracing sources of stormwater pollution.

When and where: Option 1: Feb 12, 2 to 5 PM at King County 8th floor conference center, 201 S. Jackson St., Seattle

Option 2: Feb 25, 1 to 4 PM at Snohomish County Administration 1st floor Skykomish Public Meeting room, 3000 Rockefeller Ave, Everett

Purpose: Your jurisdiction’s feedback is needed to help update the 2013 Illicit Connection and Illicit Discharge (IC-ID) Field Screening Manual published by King County and the Washington Stormwater Center (http://www.wastormwatercenter.org/illicit-connection-illicit-discharge). After updating the Manual, we will also be offering hands-on trainings in late 2019 and early 2020 throughout western Washington on the latest and most useful IDDE field methods.

RSVP: https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/4050799. There is no cost to attend the workshops, but please RSVP so we’re know who’s coming.

This project is being implemented through Ecology’s Stormwater Action Monitoring (SAM) program. Your jurisdiction’s participation and feedback will help ensure that the municipal funds contributed to SAM are used effectively.

Questions about the workshops can be directed to James Packman at Aspect Consulting, jpackman@aspectconsulting.com.

Thank you! We look forward to seeing you on either Feb 12 in Seattle or on Feb 25 in Everett.
