Apr. 7, 2018 National Green Infrastructure Certification Program Offers New Training Opportunities

Water Environment Federation (WEF) recently launched the National Green Infrastructure Certification Program (NGICP)

The Water Environment Federation (WEF) recently launched the National Green Infrastructure Certification Program (NGICP), an initiative that provides training and certification in the field of green infrastructure, a fast-growing approach used to reduce stormwater pollution and revitalize communities. The NGICP sets national certification standards for green infrastructure construction, inspection, and maintenance workers. Successful implementation of green infrastructure requires access to an adequately skilled workforce. By underscoring your competency in construction, inspection, and maintenance, certification increases your competitiveness in the job market, and provides a pathway to higher paying positions. You can view the list of available training workshops at http://ngicp.org/program/for-applicants/. The next workshop is planned for Atlanta, Georgia, April 30-May 4th.
