Request for Abstracts!

The Center for Watershed Protection requests abstracts for its 2019 National Watershed and Stormwater Conference, “Building Resiliency in our Watersheds in an Era of Uncertainty.” The conference will be held April 29–May 2, 2019 in historic Charleston, South Carolina—a coastal gem and fabulous location for the conference that is sure to attract a diverse set of attendees from the region as well as participants from across the country. Pre-conference workshops will take place on the afternoon of April 29, 2019. All abstracts are due November 19, 2018.

For the past three years, our annual conference has served as an important forum for watershed and stormwater professionals to learn about innovative restoration approaches from experts, build partnerships, and share best practices. The conference will provide a forum for watershed and stormwater professionals throughout the nation to learn how to increase the resiliency of our communities in response to emerging and persistent threats to our water resources—from headwaters to coasts.

Over the three-day conference, participants can network with water resource managers, practitioners, researchers, and regulators from all over the United States. The conference will include technical presentations, case studies, panel discussions, workshops, and field trips.

Please note: if accepted, you must register for the conference at a speaker rate for a minimum of 1 day for the day of your presentation. Sponsorship opportunities, which provide free registration and many other benefits, are also available. Visit the conference website to learn more at https://www.cwp.org/2019-national-conference/
