Sep 1, 2011 Rain Garden volunteer opportunity!

The City of Puyallup and Pierce Stream Team are looking for volunteers to help with the beginning stages of rain garden construction next week (September 6th – 8th).

Any amount of time is very much appreciated.  This is a great opportunity to get some sun and see a rain garden built from scratch!  If interested, please contact Chris with the Stream Team at christophert@piercecountycd.org.

The rain garden event itself will be Saturday, September 10th from 9 a.m. – noon, filled with demonstrations, planting, food, and a radio broadcast by Ciscoe Morris!  For directions and more information, contact the Stream Team (streamteam@piercecountycd.org or 845-2973).
