Online/in-person public workshop on Washington's next Water Quality Assessment - Monday, November 14 (10:00am - 3:30pm)

The Department of Ecology is hosting an online/in-person public workshop on Monday, November 14, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. PST to launch the public process to update the next Water Quality Assessment. This workshop will focus on major topic areas related to Water Quality Policy 1-11, which is the policy that guides how Ecology uses data to determine the water quality status of individual waterbodies (from clean to polluted).

To participate online by interactive webinar:

Participants can join the workshop using a computer connected to the internet from any location (for best audio results we recommend using a phone line in addition to computer). Webinar participants must register prior to the workshop to join.

To participate in person:

Participants can attend the meeting in person at Ecology Headquarters Auditorium in Lacey, 300 Desmond Drive, Lacey, WA. You do not need to register for the webinar if you plan to attend in person.

At the workshop we will share the feedback we received during a public scoping process of Policy 1-11 and discuss the next steps in the public discussion of these topics. More information on this process can be found at our website.
