EPA Region 6 Stormwater Conference - Sunday, July 28 – Thursday, August 1

“Responding to Change: Dynamic Stormwater Management in Economic, Political, and Climatic Transitions”

The EPA Region 6, in partnership with the City of Denton, the North Texas Central Texas Council of Governments, Texas A&M University-Kingsville, the Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4s), and States in Region 6, would like to invite all water professionals to participate in the 21st Annual EPA Region 6 Stormwater Conference to be held in Denton, Texas on July 28-August 1, 2019. The conference program includes courses, workshops, and presentation topics on Municipal, Construction and Industrial Stormwater Management, including Remand rule requirements; Watershed Protection Planning and Implementation; Advancing Resiliency in Water Infrastructure; Special Water Programs, such as nutrient reduction strategies and technologies; the Outstanding GI/LID Project Competition, and other innovative stormwater management topics.

This conference provides participants national, regional and state updates on water regulations and policy, as well as information and education on stormwater management practices, new technologies that can address stormwater pollution discharges to surface waters, and emerging concerns in water quality and quantity. This event provides valuable networking opportunities to exchange concepts, experiences, and knowledge on program challenges, successes and innovations.
