Webcast: SFPUC's Green Infrastructure Maintenance Model - Tuesday, May 7 (11:00am - 12:00pm)

San Francisco Public Utility Commission's Green Infrastructure Maintenance Model
co-hosted by the Green Infrastructure Leadership Exchange
May 7th, 2019 2:00pm - 3:00pm EDT

The SFPUC Green Infrastructure Maintenance Model is an Excel-based planning tool that is used to plan and budget for future green infrastructure maintenance obligations in terms of both labor and dollar costs. The maintenance model takes as inputs user-defined project attributes (BMP type, size, date, etc.), and yields as outputs long-term maintenance costs and staffing obligations. The SFPUC has made the model available for sister municipal stormwater agencies to use for planning-level analyses. This presentation will cover background on green infrastructure maintenance planning in San Francisco, applications of the GI Maintenance Model, and things to know before using the model as a planning tool outside of San Francisco.
