Paid Webinar - Key trends driving change in stormwater paradigms - Tuesday, February 18 (11:00am)

"Key trends driving change in stormwater paradigms," according to returning speaker Andy Reese, PE, LEED AP, D.WRE:

  • 19th Century – Exploration & Cultivation
  • 20th Century – Industrialization & Urbanization
  • 21st Century – Gentrification & Millennial-ization

Contrary to popular belief, Mr. Reese wasn’t around in the 1800s… But he has been a participant at the center of stormwater transformation since the 1970s, watched the industry undergo what he calls the 10 "Urban Stormwater Paradigm Shifts," and developed plenty of ideas on where we’re likely heading.

As Mr. Reese points out though, "Each new paradigm solves the immediate problem of the prior paradigm, creates a more insidious problem of its own, and knowing how to move to the next paradigm is more difficult than knowing what the next paradigm is."

Luckily, we have Mr. Reese—the self-proclaimed "Forrest Gump of stormwater management"—to guide us in the right direction.

Join Forester University for a live webinar, Tuesday, February 18, at 11 a.m. PST / 2 p.m. EST as Mr. Reese takes us on a whirlwind tour of the last five decades of stormwater management in an effort to better understand how past, present, and future can best be blended together as we prepare for the next paradigm (hint: climate change might have something to do with it).
