LID Code Update and Integration Training

Start planning for your LID code review and update process or learn some new strategies for recharging your existing process. The Washington State Department of Ecology is hosting a series of 8 FREE trainings throughout the state. See below for registration information and to find a training close to you.

About the Trainings

The goal of these trainings is to equip Phase II jurisdictions throughout Washington with the clear, relevant, and directly applicable knowledge and tools needed to update their codes and regulations, in compliance with NPDES Municipal Stormwater Permit requirements.

In Eastern Washington, trainings will provide a great opportunity for Phase II jurisdictions to learn how their current codes might conflict with LID practices, and how to update their codes to allow new and redevelopment projects to incorporate LID features.

Remember: LID code requirements differ between Eastern and Western Washington - talk to your Ecology permit manager if you have questions about your jurisdiction's responsibilities.
