Description:
Jeff Burkey (King Co.) and Guillaume Mauger (UW Climate Impacts Group) share their work examining future stormwater design standards/projected future precipitation scenarios. Other topics include: activities municipalities should consider as they respond to climate change, examples of what jurisdictions are doing, and King County's Climate Action Plan.

This workshop will:
  • Examine preliminary work on stormwater system design considerations in light of projected future climate (rainfall) scenarios for Western Washington.
  • Promote conversations regarding climate resiliency among stormwater professions in the Puget Sound region.
Who should attend:
  • The workshop is open to stormwater coordinators and engineers from jurisdictions that have Western Washington Phase I or Phase II Municipal NPDES Permits.
  • Registration is required and limited to 60 people.
