About This Event:

The Washington Department of Ecology has indicated that the Industrial Stormwater General Permit (ISGP) will be reissued on an accelerated timeline, with the next permit expected in August 2028 instead of January 2030. This shift means the process for gathering early input is starting now.

Shannon McClellan, Ecology’s ISGP permit writer, will join us to provide an overview of:

  • The updated reissuance timeline
  • Early considerations for permit changes
  • The settlement agreement from the 2025 permit appeal
  • Opportunities for permittees to provide input

Following the presentation, we will host a peer-to-peer discussion focused on permit reissuance, with the goal of forming permittee workgroups to develop structured input to help inform the next permit cycle.
