UIC Guidance Manual
Project Description:
The project will develop UIC Stormwater Guidance Materials (Materials) to be part of ECOLOGY’s stormwater manuals for Western Washington (SWMMWW) and Eastern Washington (SWMMEW). The project will develop materials, including new text, examples, case studies, lessons learned, and templates, to assist Permittees in complying with both the MS4 Permit and the UIC Rule.

Timeline: September 2025 – June 30, 2027
The guidance, available to all Phase I and II municipal stormwater permittees, will describe strategies to develop, manage, and improve UIC stormwater programs and provide clarification, guidance, and examples for implementing UIC Program Guidelines.
