Accepting proposals for Near Term Action (NTA's) deadline December 31st

Dec. 31 deadline for Near Term Action proposals

This is a reminder that the Puget Sound Partnership is accepting proposals until December 31, 2015, for ecosystem recovery actions, or Near Term Actions (NTAs), for inclusion in the 2016 Action Agenda, the region’s shared roadmap for Puget Sound recovery.

The Action Agenda is developed collaboratively with hundreds of partners and includes specific actions that must get underway over the next 2 years for the region to stay on track toward recovery. Proposals will be reviewed, evaluated, and prioritized. Inclusion in the Action Agenda may lead to direct federal funding and influences many other funding sources.

Summary of the NTA submittal process

Note: Proposals by tribes and local entities must first be reviewed and approved through a Local Integration Organization (LIO), and proponents should be aware of local requirements and deadlines. Regional entities are strongly encouraged to coordinate with LIOs before they submit proposals.

Questions? Please review the materials available on the NTA web page and contact the appropriate person listed on pages 43-44 of the NTA solicitation.
