From November 9th to 16th the WSC hosted our first annual Stormwater Week. We hosted numerous FREE events, launched new training and resources, and partnered with other great organizations to raise awareness of stormwater impacts across Washington state. Did you miss it? INTERACTIVE TRAINING
FREE Erosion & Sediment Control Course
This course will contain 8 chapters on the variety of erosion and sediment control best management practices available to keep construction stormwater discharge clean. Each chapter contains a video lesson followed by a set of quiz questions.
Note: This course is intended as an introduction to these topics, and does not replace a full CESCL certification. If you enjoy these topics, we encourage you to find a local CESCL trainer to expand your expertise.

E. WA Plan Review Training
Training took place on March 22, and March 23, 2022
The WSC partnered with the Department of Ecology to develop a Plan Reviewer Training. This training is intended to provide municipal staff whose primary function is to review plans with a general overview of how to review a plan set to ensure compliance with the Permits.

This presentation provides an introduction to the 2019 Stormwater Management Manual for Western Washington (SWMMWW). The talk includes a discussion of changes from the 2014 SWMMWW, a description of how to identify the appropriate Minimum Requirements for a project, a discussion of the criteria within the Minimum Requirements, and a presentation of how to move through the Minimum Requirements for two example projects.
